Coming up: UCI Urban Cycling World Championship

UCI Urban cycling world championship header BMX Freestyle Park

It is a busy time for BMX in Chengdu, China during the beginning of November. Right after the final round of FISE / UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup the UCI Urban Cycling World Championship is going down.

Who to watch

On the previous weekend Lara Lessmann managed to best Hannah Roberts, the freestyle park defending champion. Hannah and 2017 third place Angie Marino will challenge her again this weekend, so a good show is guaranteed in Chengdu from the 2017 top three.

Men´s defending champion – Logan Martin – is out with injury this year, but there is plenty of guys waiting to get the chance to step on the top of the podium. Watch out for last years 2nd and 3rd place, UK´s Alex Coleborn and Colton Walker from USA. The field is packed: Martin Rantes who just won the overall Word Cup, and Daniel Dhers who placed second will be there to hunt down the top spot. Furthermore, we expect Jake Wallwork and Dannis Enarson, who took the top two spots on the final round of the World Cup, to do extremely well. Don’t miss the action, it is going to be amazing!
