Erwan WTP Revolver Bike Check GrundBMX Luxembourg BMX Mag

Erwan´s new WETHEPEOPLE rig of is a real beauty, however the story behind it makes
one eye weeping and the other smiling. Erwan´s bike has been stolen in Strasbourg during a cold night in January, but this time at least there is a silver lining. I let him tell the story in more details, but let us use the opportunity to give a huge shout out to Frenchys freestyle distribution for hooking Erwan up with a fresh WETHEPEOPLE Revolver.

Can you tell how was your bike stolen? What happened?

I was with my girlfriend and all the homies at the Stride in Strasbourg for riding. At the end of the session we have decided to go to the restaurant all together to hang out more after a good session. We went back to my flat after all and I have left my bike in the car as always, I thought I was living in a safe neighborhood… but when my girlfriend took the car in the morning to buy some groceries, the car was cracked open and all messed up… my bike was gone. It was during the night of the 12th of January… I began 2019 in a bad way…

Who helped you out in this difficult situation?

Frenchys freestyle distribution sent me a brand new WETHEPEOPLE Revolver setup. Johan Poyet is the team manager and he is helping us all the time the best way he can, he is really going the extra mile for the riders. It feels good to be supported. Thanks to them!

What is your new set-up? How do you like it so far?

The new setup is a based on the WTP Revolver complete bike, I kept everything unchanged with regards to the frame, fork, handlebar, crank, seat, tires, pedals, grips. I have upgraded the whole thing with Profile racing’s parts: a pair of mini hubs, a sprocket and a stem.

The complete bike is already dialed with a few modifications like cutting the bar, upgrading the seat with a fat tripod wethepeople team seat, and removing the brakes. All the Profile racing’s parts is to get more comfort and tuning. We all love a beautiful bike which makes you wanna ride.
